Kemira FilamentEx - Bulking Sludge And Foam Control
Bulking sludge and foam are two undesirable, complicated and unpredictable challenges for many wastewater treatment plants globally. The majority of all bulking sludge and foam issues are caused by two bacterial groups of organisms: Microthrix Parvicella and Mycolata.
One of the most common ways to treat this is by adding various kinds of chemicals and hoping for the best. To make things even worse the addition of chemicals is often done randomly at too late a stage, with far too large quantities.
