The XE-S Cabinet, designed by Gilardoni, is a compact, versatile system suited for radioscopy and industrial tomography applications. In its base configuration, it houses a 160kV minifocus X-ray source called 'AION'. For enhanced adaptability and precision, it can be upgraded to other minifocus sources up to 225kV or a microfocus source, enabling detailed analysis at micron level resolutions. It features a digital panel for image capture and sophisticated software with proprietary filters, delivering high-quality imaging results. The cabinet utilizes a sturdy 5-axis manipulation system equipped with brushless motors and multiturn absolute encoders, facilitating seamless operation without reset requirements post shut-down or system recovery. It offers penetration capabilities up to 160mm of aluminum (or 30mm of iron) with an inspectable volume of Ø 420mm x H 600mm, and a loading capacity of 20kg, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications.

The XE-S cabinet is the smallest of the series: versatile and modular it allows to install, at a later time, different components and additional functions compared to the initial configuration, adapting to the new needs of your business.

In its basic configuration it’s equipped with minifocus X-ray source 160kV “AION” produced by Gilardoni, but it can be equipped with other minifocus sources up to 225 kV or microfocus source for high resolution analysis on small components or with details of a few microns.

The solid 5-axis manipulation system uses brushless motors with multiturn absolute encoders that permit the usage without any reset operation after switching on or restoring the system.
