Canadyne ShoreSaver - Air-Inflatable Boom
Canadyne ShoreSaver Boom is an air-inflatable boom employing a full-length cylindrical buoyancy chamber, which is incorporated into a full length water ballast chamber. Filling and emptying of all chambers is accomplished through large valves located in each compartment. Unlike typical three chambered booms, the buoyancy chamber is internal, offering added protection against puncture or abrasion. If needed for temporary storage, the air chamber can be deflated, and the entire boom can be filled with recovered product.

Canadyne ShoreSaver Boom (patent pending) comprises boom-in-boom construction allowing both air flotation and water ballast within a single external unit. The ballast water provides stability and a seal to shore for any portion of the boom that is aground. The air provides flotation and freeboard when in the water.
