Carmanah - Model R920-E (Gen 3) -Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB)

The Carmanah R920-E Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) improves compliance at uncontrolled crossings, such as midblock crosswalks and trail crossings. This user-activated, solar-powered flashing beacon is highly visible thanks to its irregular flash pattern (WW+S), which helps pedestrians and cyclists be seen in the daytime or at night, in any weather and any setting.

The solar panel, batteries and energy management system are contained in one, compact unit, making the R920-E an easy-to-install, self-contained solution. Its compact design and included universal mounting makes it easy to mount to many different pole shapes and sizes—it can even be retrofitted onto existing crosswalk signage to enhance an existing marked crosswalk.
