XTreme Power - Model XPH-5800T -Carpet Steam Cleaner

The XPH-5800T is a tank heated carpet extractor excellent for smaller jobs or periodic use built in the USA. The tank heating element heats all the water in the tank to ~ 150ºF for excellent cleaning. Heating time is about 15 minutes, and when the 4.5 gallons is exhausted the unit needs to be refilled and allowed to reheat. For this reason those cleaning larger areas should consider the XPH-5900i. The XPH-5900i has inline heating elements that flash heat the water as it exits nearly eliminating heating times.
The XPH-5800T is easily emptied into a bucket through the front valve. The powerful -stage vacuum motor is enhanced by the patented carpet wand. The carpet wand features a rear mounted guide that maintains contact with the carpet eve if the angle at which the wand is held changes. This helps to maintain a good vacuum seal and greatly improves vacuum performance.
2 Gallons of Daimer`s Eco-Green Carpet Care are included. Eco-Green is readily biodegradable and non-toxic. It is very concentrated and should be diluted 32:1 water for standard cleaning. This means that one gallon of Eco-Green can theoretically yield 33 gallons of usable product. For heavily soiled carpets try a stronger concentration of ~ 20:1.

Carpet steam cleaners should be used for cleaning carpets in commercial areas. A commercial carpet steam cleaner may have temperatures as high as 150 degrees Fahrenheit. At such high temperatures, grease, beverages and food residue are dissolved easily. The detergent helps to clean the carpet further. Once the stains are gone and the dirt is dissolved, the carpet cleaner wand extracts the dirty water from the carpet.
If your carpet cleaner is effective enough, it will be able to remove most of the moisture from the carpet, and the remaining moisture would dry within a few hours.
Due to this powerful extraction capability, carpet cleaners are often called carpet extractors. They should not be confused with a steam vacuum cleaner, which generates vapor steam but lacks the high pressure and moisture needed to clean carpets effectively.
