Cartridges for transformer dehumidification
Introducing our on-line dehydration cartridges, specifically designed to remove water from the oil and cellulose material while the transformer is in operation. This innovative device is instrumental in slowing down the aging and degradation of cellulose insulation, contributing to improved dielectric properties of the oil. As a result, the transformer`s reliability is significantly enhanced, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Trust in our on-line dehydration cartridges for proactive and efficient maintenance of transformer systems.
The device establishes a hydraulic connection to the transformer case, utilizing a hydraulic pump to facilitate oil circulation through a bed of molecular sieves. These sieves act as powerful attractors, capturing and retaining water dissolved in the oil. The process involves a reduction in water content within the oil, prompting the desorption of water from the cellulose insulation. This migration occurs as water moves from the cellulose to the oil to restore hydrostatic equilibrium. Consequently, the gradual extraction of water from the cellulose is achieved, with the molecular sieves playing a pivotal role in adsorbing and effectively removing water from the transformer`s system.
The dehydration system boasts impressive capabilities, removing approximately 10 liters of water. The efficiency of the device is contingent on the hydration level (water content) and the operating temperature of the transformer.
- Varied Absorption Times:The absorption time, and hence the device`s efficiency, varies based on the hydration level and operating temperature of the transformer. For instance:
- Applied to a device with a 4% hydration level in the cellulose, operating at high temperatures in a particularly humid environment, the system achieves saturation in approximately 6-9 months.
- Applied to a device with a 1% hydration level in the cellulose, operating at 50°C, the TRASEC CL3A system can endure up to 24 months before reaching saturation.
- On a new, dry appliance with a hydration level below 0.5%, the system can last up to an impressive 5 years before saturation.
These features underscore the adaptability and effectiveness of the TRASEC CL3A dehydration system, offering a tailored solution based on the specific conditions of the transformer and its environment.
