Sway - Model CPAM -Cationic Polyacrylamide
For sludge dewatering: Depending on the nature of the sludge, the appropriate model of this product can be selected to effectively carry out sludge dewatering before the sludge enters the press filter. During dewatering, large flocs are formed, which do not stick to the filter cloth and do not disintegrate during pressing. The resulting sludge cake is relatively thick, with high dewatering efficiency and a moisture content of less than 80%.
- For the treatment of domestic sewage and organic wastewater**: This product exhibits cationic properties in either acidic or alkaline media, which is very effective for the flocculation and sedimentation of suspended particles with negative charges in sewage, resulting in clear water. It is particularly effective in treating wastewater from grain alcohol production, papermaking, municipal sewage treatment plants, breweries, monosodium glutamate factories, sugar refineries, and other organic and high organic content wastewaters, as well as feed and textile printing and dyeing wastewaters. The use of cationic polyacrylamide is several or even tens of times more effective than the use of anionic, nonionic polyacrylamide or inorganic salts, as these types of wastewater generally carry negative charges.
- As a flocculant for the treatment of tap water sourced from river water**: This product is used in small quantities, with good effects and low cost. It is especially effective when used in combination with inorganic flocculants. It is expected to become an efficient flocculant for water treatment plants along the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, and other river basins.
- As a paper strength enhancer and other additives**: It increases the retention rate of fillers and pigments, as well as the strength of paper.
- As an oilfield treatment aid**: It can be used as a clay swelling inhibitor and a thickening agent for oilfield acidizing.
- As a textile sizing agent**: The sizing solution has stable performance, with less sizing loss, low fabric breakage rate, and a smooth fabric surface.
For the textile and dyeing industries. Polyacrylamide is used as a sizing agent and finishing agent for fabric treatment. It can create a layer that is soft, wrinkle-resistant, and mildew-proof. Leveraging its strong hygroscopic nature, it can reduce the breakage rate during the spinning of fine yarns. As a post-treatment agent, polyacrylamide can prevent fabric from static electricity and fire. When used as a dyeing aid, polyacrylamide can enhance the fastness and brightness of the product. It can also serve as a non-silicone high molecular weight stabilizer for bleaching.
Mainly used as a flocculant. This product is widely used for the treatment of chemical industry wastewater and waste liquid, municipal sewage treatment. It is also used in the purification and clarification of highly turbid water in tap water industry, coal washing, mineral selection, metallurgy, steel industry, zinc and aluminum processing, electronics industry, and other water treatment applications.
For the petroleum industry. It is used in oil extraction, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, preventing water invasion, reducing friction, and improving recovery rates. It is widely applied in tertiary oil recovery.
For the paper industry. Firstly, it increases the retention rate of fillers and pigments, reducing the loss of raw materials and environmental pollution. Secondly, it enhances the strength of paper (both dry and wet strength). Additionally, using PAM can improve the tear resistance and porosity of paper, thereby enhancing visual and printing performance. It is also used in food and tea packaging paper.
Other industries. In the food industry, it is used for the clarification of juice in sugarcane and beet sugar production and the extraction of sugar by the phosphatide method. It is also used in the flocculation and clarification of enzyme preparation fermentation liquid. In the feed protein recovery industry, it ensures stable quality. The recovered protein powder has no adverse effects on the survival rate, weight gain, and egg production of chickens. It is also used in synthetic resin coatings, grouting materials for water blocking in construction, improving cement quality, construction adhesives, joint repair and water blocking agents, soil improvement, electroplating industry, and dyeing industry.
