Every Cavotec reel is purpose-built to match the machine, motion, and environment it serves — from heavy duty and high-speed port cranes to space-optimised reels for underground mining equipment.
With some of the world’s largest mono drums reaching 9.2 m in diameter and level-wind drums up to 7 m wide, Cavotec reels deliver unmatched reliability, performance, and precision — even on applications operating at speeds up to 300 m/min.

A Cavotec motorised reel integrates motor and gearbox torque units, drums, slip rings/Swivels, cables / hoses, and guiding & stress-relief assemblies into a fully engineered system.
