Century Geophysical - Model 9053 -Natural Gamma / Casing Collar Locating Tool
The Natural Gamma/Casing Collar Locating Tool (Tool # 9053) is designed for applications requiring natural gamma logging and casing collar location in boreholes. Its slim profile enables it to be used in small diameter boreholes and through steel or PVC drill pipes with an inside diameter of at least 2 inches. The gamma sensor is positioned near the bottom for data acquisition close to the borehole's total depth. This downhole digital tool has quick automatic setup and unique tool identification, supporting efficient, one-man operation. It features a magnetic coil casing collar locator with a 20 cm offset and employs an NAI scintillation detector for natural gamma measurements, offset by 114.3 cm. The tool specifications include a length of 118.9 cm, a diameter of 41 mm, weight of 7.46 kg, and it can operate under 85°C temperature, up to 4000 PSI pressure, at a logging speed of 9 meters per minute, requiring 36 VDC. This tool is fully customizable to meet specific requirements.
Used when the natural gamma log and casing collar locator is required. This tools slim design permits logging in small diameter boreholes and through steel or PVC drill pipe of 2 inch inside diameter or larger. The natural gamma sensor is located near the bottom of the tool to permit data acquisition near the total depth of the borehole.
