Founding and development
Founded in 1967, VFF developed within a very short time into the largest manufacturer of tower packings and inert balls in Europe through constant innovation and highest quality standards.

As the leading company of its kind, VFF is now active with around 30 agencies worldwide.

Expertise and know-how
VFF products are subject to a wide range of conditions in various industries around the world - e.g. in the petrochemical and chemical industries, in plant engineering and construction, and in environmental technology. Thanks to decades of cooperation with VFF customers and by intensively examining its products, VFF can rely on extensive know-how, which is the basis for the new development and optimization of VFF products.

In addition to the internal quality management checking the production processes, the work steps are of course also monitored and recorded using elaborate electronic equipment. The processing of our own raw materials on the most modern machines contributes to consistent product quality.

All VFF products are produced in accordance with strict German safety standards for employees and the environment. They are also subject to regular tests as part of the DIN EN ISO 9001 certification. To ensure product quality, VFF undergoes internal as well as external controls and offers unsurpassed operational reliability. Globally recognized and accredited, DIFK GmbH regularly runs extensive tests on the materials and end products used by VFF. In addition to standardised test methods in the fields of chemistry, physics, mineralogy and high temperature behaviour, special laboratory tests are also conducted.

In order to be able to maintain the quality lead of VFF products in the future and to extend it further, VFF continues to rely on its products 100% ‘Made in Germany’.

Flexibility and service
As the largest manufacturer of inert balls and tower packings in Europe, VFF is able to respond to requests within the shortest possible time. This means customers can save long lead or storage times. Individual wishes (e.g. packaging) can be realised by VFF at any time. VFF delivers the products you have ordered on time to the desired location. Moreover, the staff of the technical department is always available as competent partners.

Directly from the manufacturer
VFF is a manufacturer and not a distributor. Therefore VFF is independent of suppliers and offers its customers security of supply. Delays in the process are thus avoided. VFF is the only tower packing manufacturer of its kind in the world that has its own raw material deposits with different qualities. This ensures constant homogeneity of the product properties even over several decades. Only a absolute homogeneous product offers a service life that customers expect from a high-quality product. At VFF, intensive internal and external quality controls are carried out throughout the entire manufacturing process, from the extraction of raw materials to the shipment of the goods.

Future prospects
Thanks to a future-oriented development programme, VFF has products in its portfolio which exceed previous standards, performance or specifications many times over.

In the future, VFF will continue to work on being able to offer products which significantly surpass the current state of the art and thus offer VFF customers more performance with less energy consumption. The VFF-Twin-Pak® is one of the examples followed here. It is already established on the market and is an entirely newly developed high-performance metal random packing with a profile that is close to that of structured packings, but without sacrificing the many advantages of random packing. In the ceramic sector, the VFF-Power-Pak® is the counterpart to the VFF-Twin-Pak® and is also patented. Its completely new design puts previously known standard tower packings in the shade. VFF is currently working on further innovative types of random packings as well as on the further and new development of internals and demisters.
