GEODEVICE - Model SmartQuantumMag -Cesium base station magnetometer
Easy-to-Use Console
Quick setup, visual control of measurements, and access to stored data from the built-in microSD card.
Data download via USB, or real-time streaming via RS-232 / CAN.
Console features an OLED display (−40…+60°C), backlit keypad, and built-in multi-band GNSS with RAW data logging.
Ready to Work Out of the Box
The system includes all required components — no need to purchase additional cables, batteries, or GNSS accessories.
Optional modules expand functionality, but are not required for standard use.
Power & Autonomy
Up to 9.5 hours at −30°C and 16 hours at +20°C using the included LiFePO₄ battery (−40…+60°C).
Continuous operation is supported from a car battery, AC-DC converter, or solar panel.
No built-in sealed batteries → easy air transportation and simple maintenance.
Data Format
Surveys are organized in project folders. Each measurement is stored as a TXT line containing:
UTC time, line/base name, field value, estimated error, sensor ID, latitude/longitude, altitude, UTM (auto zone) and GNSS accuracy.
The file name includes the console serial number and measurement mode.
This ensures consistent datasets and makes it easy to track which instrument collected each measurement, even with multiple teams in the field.
Multi-Sensor Gradiometer Mode
Devices can be synchronized via CAN FD, allowing flexible multi-sensor arrays.
Up to 6 SmartQuantumMag sensors can be connected to a MaxiMag console, or a large distributed network can be built via CAN-Ethernet.
High Accuracy in Real Environments
Each instrument is metrologically tested (noise, absolute accuracy, heading error).
Advanced filtering ensures stable measurements under industrial noise and near powerlines.
GNSS with Centimeter Accuracy
Built-in multi-band GNSS with PPK enables cm-level accuracy.
SmartQuantumMag can function as GNSS base, rover, or tracker.
RAW GNSS data can be converted to RINEX.
Supports NMEA-0183 for external GNSS devices.
