CFM - Straw Blankets & Coconut Blankets
100% Straw, Straw/Coconut combination and 100% Coconut erosion control blankets are readily available here at the shop. We also offer these products with photo and biodegradable netting for environmentally sensitive project locations.
Single net straw: 100% straw with a single photodegradable polypropylene netting or a single biodegradable jute netting. It is designed to provide erosion protection and assist with vegetation establishment for 8 to 12 months on slopes up to 3:1 and low-flow channels.
Double net straw: 100% straw between two photodegradable polypropylene nettings or two biodegradable jute nettings. It is designed to provide erosion control and assist with vegetation establishment assistance for 8 to 12 months on 2:1 to 3:1 slopes and in moderate-flow channels.
Straw/Coconut blend: 70% straw 30% coconut fiber matrix. Has a functional longevity of up to 24 months. The straw/coconut blend blankets provide erosion control and vegetation establishment assistance for up to three years on slopes up to 1:1 and medium-flow channels.
Coconut: 100% Coconut between two UV stabilized polypropylene nettings. This product is designed to provide up to 36 months of temporary protection for slopes exceeding 1:1 and in high-flow channels.
