The RMD relays are designed for high-performance industrial applications, featuring options with 4, 8, or 16 changeover contacts. They maintain a robust mechanical design, similar to the RGM series, ensuring consistent specifications and performance. Notable features include coil continuity supervision via a built-in auxiliary relay and functionalities for continuous checks and periodic testing. The knurled contacts provide multiple electrical connection points, resulting in reduced ohmic resistance, which enhances the electrical life expectancy of the component. These relays are optimized for managing strongly inductive DC loads and very low interface signal loads. With an exceptional breaking capacity, the RMD relays handle heavy-duty DC loads even under frequent switching scenarios. The optional magnetic arc blow-out further increases the breaking capacity. They accommodate nominal voltage ranges from 12 to 220VDC/440VAC, and their adaptability makes them suitable for demanding sectors like electricity generating and transformer stations, railways, and industries with continuous production processes.
