Sweet-Aire ODO-Check - Check Bag Valve
The SWEET-AIRE ODO-CHECK bag valve is designed to prevent the backflow of sewer gas into lateral sanitary sewage distribution lines. The prevention of the backflow of the sewage vapors eliminates the malodorous compounds from the main sewer from being forced back up the lateral line and ultimately discharged into the residence or industrial structure via the “p traps” or roof vents. Fabricated from reinforced, flexible PVC, the ODO-CHECK units are simple to install and provide a long service life.
The ODO-CHECK units are designed to allow normal flow down the lateral with almost no resistance to flow. The bag valve opens to the full diameter of the lateral line providing unobstructed flow to both liquids and solids. Interior and exterior surfaces are designed to prevent accumulation of foreign matter.
The ODO-CHECK bag valve design provides maximum installation flexibility. The units can be installed either internally or externally on the lateral line with the supplied stainless steel band clamp. The units can also be installed externally at the lateral termination point inside the manhole or wet well by use of the optional schedule 80 PVC flange.
A custom-engineered, patent-pending device inserted on the outlet end or into lateral distribution pipes to prevent the backflow of sewer gas into the lateral sewer lines.
