BACARA - Chromogenic Media

BACARA Chromogenic Media is a new culture medium for the detection and enumeration of Bacillus cereus, providing results within 24 hours using the FDA BAM protocol.  BACARA inhibits the growth of bacteria other than Bacillus cereus, improving the isolation of Bacillus cereus, and has been recommended to replace MYP as a more rapid method of Bacillus cereus recovery by the Journal of AOAC International.
