Class III microbiological safety cabinets feature a fully enclosed working area where the operator is separated from the work by a physical barrier – gloves are mechanically attached to the cabinet. Filtered air is continuously applied to thecabinet and the exhaust air is treated to prevent release of micro-organisms.
Envair’s Bio 3+ range of compact, highly specified, high performance cabinets are designed to provide total operator protection when handling biological agents up to ACDP Hazard Group 4 or animals inoculated with such agents (subject to proper installation, operation and maintenance.)
Supplying internal air cleanliness to ISO 5 and EC GMP Grade A (non-unidirectional airflow), the cabinets are easy to clean inside and out. They areavailable in a wide range of sizes, configurations and fumigation options to provide a solution for every laboratory and application.
The Bio 3/1+ model also allows for easy conversion between Class III mode (for biological agents up to Hazard Group 4) and Class I mode (for biological agents up to Hazard Group 3) where either application might be required.
