Coconut shell activated charcoal is made from coconut husk, activated by SLEP furnace, and ownsshapes of amorphous particle. It has a very high hardness and is more abrasion resistant than any other type,because of its high abrasion resistance and exceptional chemical and physical characteristics.
As most of its pore structure consists of micropores (more than 80%), coconut shell carbon can efficiently absorb impurities with micropore molecular structure, such as those present in drinking water. It also can used in food& beverage, pharmaceutical, alcohol, air purification and deodorization of high pure drinking water, removal of heavy metals in water, inaddition to chlorine and liquid decolorization. And can be widely used in chemical industry of the solvent recovery and gas separation, gold recovery, etc.
