Coltraco - Model Permalevel -Single Point Fixed-Level Monitoring Device
The Permalevel Single Point is a fixed-level monitoring device designed for use in a variety of industrial, safety and manufacturing applications. The sensor, placed on the outside of the tank, can trigger an alert if the liquid level rises or falls below a fixed point, sending a 4-20mA output to interact with other equipment.
The Permalevel® Single Point is designed to offer maximum flexibility across a wide range of fixed-point level monitoring applications. The main principle of the system involves fixing an ultrasonic sensor to a critical position on the side of the container being tested. This critical position can be found and verified using a Portalevel® unit and the Portasteele® Calculator. The unit will then non-invasively monitor whether or not liquid is present inside the cylinder at this point. As soon as the liquid level rises above or falls below this point, this will trigger an alert from the Permalevel® Single Point. This alert can interface with any alarm or management system operating in the facility. There are a wide variety of applications for this system, including pressurised cylinders, storage tanks and pipes.
