Colubris - Basket Strainer

The pressure strainers are robustly constructed in line coarse screens protecting DAF units, lamella separators or other downstream equipment from blocking. Unwanted oversized particles like pieces of plastic, leaves, feathers ets. are collected in a stainless steel basket. These "safety strainers"are executed with pressure indicators at the inlet- and outlet side showing how much debris has been collected in the basket. If the pressure difference exceeds a certain limit the basket can be easily removed via a top cover to be emptied.
