Colubris - Feather Presses

We have developed a special feather press to dewater coarse and fiber-like materials. This press combines the advantages of the shaftless auger with the dewatering characteristics of wedge wire (as applied in e.g. bow- and drum screens). The spiral conveyor transports coarse materials, like screenings, towards the pressing section where an adjustable resistance is applied using a lid that is kept in place by a weight or a spring. The feather press works automatically and requires a minimum of attention.
