Columns and Emitters
Our line of performance columns is for exceptional results, but also puts some demands on usage such as requiring elevated column temperature control to manage system backpressure (This flyer provides some recommendations to ensure the recommended 40°C)
The product line consists of EV1109 for 60 and 100 SPD methods and EV1137 for 30 SPD and the Extended method. These columns are packed with 1.5 μM C18 beads, which improve peak capacity significantly compared to the Endurance line of columns. Consequently, the proteome coverage is enhanced, and the column provides a robust and competitive option – on the same level as the home-pulled and packed options, but with better reproducibility and life-time.
Evosep emitters are designed with either stainless steel or fused silica and come with integrated liquid junctions for easy zero dead volume, finger tight connections in our source adapters.
Emitters are available in Endurance and Performance versions. The default is an Endurance ID 30 µm stainless steel emitter (EV1086). The fused silica emitters are available in ID 20 µm (EV1087) and the ID 10 µm Performance version (EV1111).
All our columns come default with fittings for our own emitters and spray adapters, but when those are not appropriate, you can find open-ended versions (marked OE) of our columns for connecting to your own spray solutions.
