Known for power and cutting technology on jobsites around the world, Vermeer offers the T558 COMMANDER® 3 fully hydrostatic sliding offset trencher. As the only offset trencher in its class capable of trenching outside the width of the left track, the T558 COMMANDER® 3 cutting capacity gives the operator additional access along jobsite obstacles such as roads, curbs, buildings and walls.

With features like the stowable loading conveyor, a sectionalized boom, and auto-tilt track, the T558 COMMANDER® 3 offset trencher delivers the muscle and versatility to tackle the toughest trenching jobs.
Exclusive sliding offset cutting performance. The T558 COMMANDER® 3 is the only sliding offset trencher in its class that can dig outside the width of the left track – up to 9" (23 cm) with a 24" (61 cm) chain setup.
Decrease transport preparation time. An optional stowable loading conveyor stores easily, and unlike competitive models does not require removal for transport. The conveyor’s width stays within 100" (254 cm) in either trench or transport mode, meeting both North American and European Union (EU) transportation requirements.
Enhance productivity with TEC® 2000. A Vermeer exclusive, TEC 2000 is a microprocessor-based electronic control system that monitors operating conditions, and informs the operator of real-time machine performance for increased productivity and reduced wear to the machine.
