CSE - Commonly Called an Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD)
Commonly called an Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) or a Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR), the SRLD is the smallest and lightest one-hour belt wearable SCSR available today. The SRLD is not a traditional oxygen tank - it utilizes technology used by space agencies to chemically generate oxygen while also removing carbon dioxide from a user’s breath. It is designed to be carried every day or stored away for up to 10 years without maintenance. The SRLD can be used in applications such as, mining, tunneling, industrial plants, underground utilities, government buildings, or even panic rooms.
- The smallest, lightest 1-hour NIOSH and MSHA approved emergency breathing device
- 10-year service life in storage (5-year if carried)
Offering nearly four times more oxygen while weighing almost half as much as other EEBDs, it`s the lightest NIOSH-approved 60-minute SCSR. Its compact design ensures an hour of reliable breathing time in critical situations
Self-contained source of oxygen
No hydrostatic testing means simplified maintenance compared to other escape systems, saving time and effort.
Designed for the most rugged applications and industries
