Flexibility

The Gealog micro SG consists of the communication module (data storage and transmission module), optionally a level/temperature probe or a level/conductivity/temperature probe. The probe cable length can be adjusted to their requirements as desired. The housing of the Gealog micro SG allows easy attachment of a wide variety of mounting plates and mounting brackets. For applications in very humid environments, an external desiccant container can be connected via a bayonet hose connector.

Data transmission via mobile radio, visualization in the browser

In addition to time savings due to reduced measuring point visit intervals, data transmission also offers the advantage of ongoing automated control of the measuring point. Logotronic offers the GealogNet system as an option to the Gealog micro SG, where the incoming data is immediately accessible on the web via browser. Various options for monitoring incoming data create a high level of data security. The GealogNet database can be hosted by Logotronic, but can also be installed on their server.

State-of-the-art mobile communications

For data transmission, the Gealog micro SG uses the most modern mobile radio standards for this application, either LTE CAT-M1 or LTE N1 (NB-IoT). By using low radio frequencies, the penetration of obstacles (e.g. concrete walls) is much better than with standard LTE. The Gealog micro SG still transmits where normal cellular modems have to give up.

Configuration of the measuring station

Logotronic offers a high-quality app for Windows operating systems to operate the Gealog micro SG. Configuration is largely intuitive with comprehensive help and operating instructions, directly integrated in the app. Various short-range radio interfaces were deliberately omitted. The connection is made via a data cable with high-quality bayonet connector to USB interface.
