01. Recirculation on Digester
Defragments and solubilize the organic sludge received in the digester, increasing homogeneity, and reducing viscosity. Cavitation acts by destroying bacterial cell walls and membranes resulting in a release of intracellular and extracellular matter, resulting in digestion processes acceleration. This significantly augments the efficiency of the digester, decreasing the processing time, producing a much higher biogas yield and a lower amount of stabilised sludge to be dispose off.
02. Loading from Thickener to Digester
The thickened activated sludge can be treated by SewaTOR leading to a strong reduction of sludge viscosity entering the digester. SewaTOR improves the sludge rheology, resulting in superior pumpability and a decrease of pumping cost and plant energy consumption.
03. Recirculation from Thickener to Biological Oxidation Tank
Recirculating from the oxidation tank to maintain a constant level of bacteria. Its bulky filamentous structure will be disaggregated resulting in a reduction of the oxidation time, the improvement of nitrification alongside a lower energy consumption of sedimentation process mixers. Moreover, there is a minimisation of the foaming problems common during secondary treatment. Cavitation formed free radicals significantly contribute to full elimination of pollutants and toxic chemicals during the oxidation period.
04. Recirculation from Sedimentation Tank to Oxidation Tank
Activated sludges can be recirculated directly from the secondary sedimentation tank. The positive effects produced by SewaTOR are equivalent to those obtained in location 3.
05. Recirculation from Separator to Digester
Part or all the dewatered sludge ready for disposal can be recirculated to the digester. SewaTOR makes possible its pumpability and prevents this compact and dehydrated material from reducing the efficiency and processing time of the digester. The dry matter content of dewatered sludge can reach 30%. Moreover, with this application the organic fraction of the digestate sludge can be 100% converted, zeroing the residual sludge to dispose of and resetting the volume of organic sludge in the digester.
06. In the Tertiary Treatment to Eliminate Pathogens
Sterilization Germs and virus can be fully removed by processing the discharged water with SewaTOR reaching a controlled temperature of 70º C.
07. In the Tertiary Treatment With Integration of UV-C and O3
SewaTOR with also the integration of UV-C and/or O3, can eliminate these pathogens, avoiding the use of harmful chemicals.
