EIT 2.0 - Compact Sensors for Online Measurement
EIT 2.0 LLC specializes in the development and production of compact sensors specifically designed for online measurement applications. These sensors are engineered to deliver precise and reliable data, aiding in the monitoring and analysis of various processes in real-time. The design philosophy takes into account both scientific principles and the nuanced art of sensor placement and application. Durability is a key feature, with the sensors being subjected to rigorous testing to ensure long life and consistent performance in demanding environments. The housing of these sensors is available in configurations with or without purge, tailored to specific use conditions. EIT's extensive experience since 1977 enables it to provide cutting-edge solutions that integrate seamlessly into different industrial frameworks, enhancing operational efficiency and providing critical insights for process improvements.
- The Compact Sensor is small, stable and robust with sealed optics that are highly resistant to solarization
- The Sensor is used in a 1:1 ratio with the EIT 2.0 LLC DIN Rail
- Compact Sensor Options include:
- Housing Shape: CS-1 (With purge) or CS-2 (Without Purge)
- UV Bands Available: Mercury (UVA, UVB, UVC or UVV) / LED (L-365, L-385, L-395 or L-405)
- Internal Aperture size is based on source power and mounting location
- Refer to the brochure for temperature limits.
- The EIT 2.0 LLC Quartz Rod can be used in applications with high temperatures or limited space
Applications include web presses, fiber optic draw towers, hard drive manufacturing, print and medical applications. The intensity measured by the On-Line Monitoring System is a relative intensity versus an absolute (W/cm2) value. The user is able to track both gradual (e.g. source aging) or sudden (equipment malfunction) changes to the UV intensity to take action before the changes impact product quality and bottom line profitability.
The On-Line System consists of two components: Compact Sensor and DIN Rail Signal-Conditioning Unit. The system can be used as the sole means of UV process control or in conjunction with an EIT NIST-traceable UV radiometer.
