SAG - Compressed Air Tanks for Commercial and Rail Vehicles
SAG is a leading producer of high-quality compressed air tanks for automobiles, commercial vehicles (EN 286-2) and rail vehicles (EN 286-4).
Air pressure tanks made by SAG are optimised in terms of quality, weight and cost thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing processes like rheocasting.
SAG air reservoirs are used, for example, for air suspension systems, as additional volume directly on the air-sprung suspension struts or in turbo units. Safety and comfort are playing an increasingly important role in the automotive sector. SAG supplies the major OEMs with it’s air tanks for engine charging for luxury and upper mid-range vehicles.
Aluminum air pressure tanks made by SAG supply the necessary compressed air, which is usually kept in the reservoir at a pressure of approx. 20 bar. By using rheocasting technology, any shape can be produced with optimized installation space and the best material properties.
