Product Information & Usage
Prevail Power Wash is a superb alkaline cleaner and degreaser that’s safe for most surfaces. Brake dust, soot, grime, and soils are quickly dispersed (perfect for engines and machinery, tools, and work surfaces). Use in conjunction with a pressure washer or make a simple solution for use with a sponge and bucket.
Directions: The preferred method of application for removal of heavy soils and automotive brake dust is through a hot water pressure washer. Set the soap control knob on the pressure washer to dispense two ounces per gallon and apply with broad sweeping strokes, paying special attention to heavily soiled areas. Rinse thoroughly with the pressure washer for a clean, film-free surface. To use Prevail as a conventional degreaser, add 2 ounces per gallon of water (15 mL per Liter) in a bucket or preferred container. Apply soap solution over the entire surface and allow to penetrate soil and oils/grease. Gently agitate or scrub if desired. Rinse with a water hose or similar apparatus. Prevail may be used as a stronger solution for degreasing and removal of soot, grime or brake dust. Simply dilute with ten to twenty parts of water and apply through a pump-up sprayer or other suitable device. This is an excellent method for removing caked on or sticky residue and grime, including bugs on automotive windshields, bumpers and grills. Just spray the affected areas with the stronger solution of Prevail and then wash the surface or vehicle per normal procedure. Never apply this material without dilution. Do not begin washing any vehicles or other delicate finishes which have been left in the sun. Hot surfaces (especially aluminum) should be cooled by a quick application of clean water before applying Prevail.
