Concepts - Iron Removal Filters

CONCEPTS offers complete Iron removal filtration plants for removal of dissolved iron in water. These filters are based on the concept of removal of dissolved iron by a process of oxidation. The dissolved iron is oxidized to its insoluble ferric salt which sediments out during the oxidation process. Green sand/Birm is used as an oxidising agent. The sediment formed alongwith turbidity is entrapped by the downstream filter provided. The filters are offered in mild steel epoxy painted construction.For higher flow rates horizontal filters are installed in modular configuration.
