ContraFlame - Passive Fire Protection
A lightweight, multifunctional integrated thermal insulation and hydrocarbon fire protection coating ideal for production risers, riser clamps, riser jet fire deflectors, vessels, saddles, process pipework, underdecks, LNG decks, and bulkheads.
The system is hydrocarbon pool fire rated up to H240 and jet fire rated up to JF120 so provides robust passive fire protection that enhances safety and protects assets.
ContraFlame® PFP is 4.2 bar overpressure blast rated and provides impact and abrasion protection from splash zone to topside, enhancing safety and protecting assets.
ContraFlame® PFP is tested and proven for use in extremes of temperature, making it capable of protecting structures in the most demanding topside operating environments.
ContraFlame® PFP‘s unique syntactic phenolic foam and phenolic glass reinforced laminate construction is a passive solution that does not undergo any chemical or physical change during exposure to heat, fire or cryogenic spill.
