Mingjiang - Model GTY Series -Copper Butt Connectors
GTY range of connectors are designed for jointing low voltage conductors in heavy duty applications. Made of electrolytic Copper tube with a purity greater than 99.9%, GTY connectors are annealed and electrolytically Tin plated. They feature an internal taper at both ends to ease the introduction of the conductor and a central stop to ensure correct positioning.
Easy to install:
GTY Copper Butt Connectors can be easily installed using a crimping tool. The installation process involves stripping the insulation of both cables, inserting the stripped ends into the connector, and crimping the connector using a crimping tool.
Strong and secure connection:
The crimping process ensures that the connector securely holds both the cables in place, creating a strong and reliable connection. This connection is resistant to mechanical stress and vibration, ensuring that it does not come apart quickly, provides enhanced mechanical and electrical performance, making CG lugs ideal for heavy-duty applications.
High conductivity:
GTY Copper Butt Connectors have excellent electrical conductivity due to the use of high-quality copper material. This quality enables the efficient transfer of electrical current between the two cables connected.
GTY Copper Butt Connectors can indeed be used for connecting during cable maintenance. Here are some potential benefits of using GTY Copper Butt Connectors for cable maintenance:
- Easy to install: GTY Copper Butt Connectors can be easily installed during cable maintenance, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. They require no special tools or equipment, and the installation process is quick and straightforward.
- Strong and reliable connection: GTY Copper Butt Connectors provide a tight, secure connection between two cables, ensuring reliable electrical continuity. This quality is essential during cable maintenance to ensure that the electrical system remains functional.
