Cri-LineModel FKM -Fluoroelastomer Compounds

SHARE

Cri-Line® FKM compounds are advanced fluoroelastomer materials developed by Cri-Tech, offering a versatile range for various industrial applications. These compounds feature fluorine content from 65% to 71%, utilizing either bisphenol or peroxide cure systems, catering to specific requirements such as base resistance (BRE) and low temperature flexibility. Cri-Tech's formulation technology allows for a spectrum of standard colors and custom color matching, ensuring compatibility with diverse needs. The compounds are tailored to support applications requiring complex geometries with enhanced hot tear resistance. For high chemical resistance demands, intermediate and high fluorine terpolymers serve fuel and chemical processing applications, including methanol-containing fuels. Additionally, specialized compounds offer solutions for cost efficiency, ultimate compression set resistance, and niche applications like injection molding with optimized properties such as low viscosity, shrinkage control, and rubber-to-metal bonding. Cri-Tech also provides TFEP compounds, which excel in resisting hot water, steam, and chemical exposures.

General Purpose Compounds
66% fluorine copolymers formulated for molding complex geometric shapes exhibit improved hot tear resistance properties and are offered in a variety of colors. Typical applications include diaphragms, valve stem seals, hydraulic packaging, plumbing, roll covers, and small engine.

Intermediate Fluorine Compounds
68% fluorine terpolymers formulated for improved chemical resistance are good choices for fuel applications. Typical applications include diaphragms, fuel hoses, shaft seals, expansion joints, pipe & tank liners, chemical processing, and diesel.

High Fluorine Compounds
70% fluorine terpolymers formulated for much improved chemical resistance are excellent choices for fuel applications including methanol-containing fuels. Typical applications include fuel hoses, shaft seals, pipe & tank liners, down-hole packers, chemical processing, and diesel.

High Fluorine – Low Temperature Compounds
High fluorine tetrapolymers formulated for low temperature flexibility are excellent choices for fuel applications including methanol-containing fuels where low temperature flexibility is also essential.

Low Cost Compounds
66% fluorine copolymers formulated for low cost are used in lathe cut and custom molded goods, including valve stem seals.

Specification Grade Compounds
66% fluorine copolymers formulated for ultimate compression set resistance are the best choice for O-rings. Typical applications include O-rings for automotive and aerospace, shaft seals, valve cover gaskets, blowout preventers, sheet packings, and small engine.

Specialty Compounds
Low Viscosity Compounds are formulated for injection molding and exhibit improved hot tear resistance.

Low Shrinkage Compounds are designed to give part shrinkage (out of the mold) and post-curing operation comparable to a nitrile or similar elastomer. In most cases, tooling changes are not required when switching over to an LS compound.

No Post Cure Compounds are designed to achieve high tensile and modulus values with good compression set and aging characteristics without requiring a post cure.

Thick Cross Section Compounds are fissure resistant in thick cross sections and also exhibit enhanced rubber-to-metal bonding.

Custom Color Compounds are color matched for our customers in the consumer market with tight batch-to-batch color consistency and contamination-free requirements. Virtually any color is available from light and pastel to dark and vibrant.

Tetrafluoroethylene / Propylene (TFEP)
55% fluorine copolymers of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene. TFEP compounds exhibit outstanding resistance to hot water, steam, acids and alkalis. These compounds also give superior performance in amines and phosphate esters as compared to conventional fluoroelastomers and typical applications include chemical processing and wire & cable coatings.
