CSECommonly Called an Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD)

SHARE

Commonly called an Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) or a Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR), the SRLD is the smallest and lightest one-hour belt wearable SCSR available today. The SRLD is not a traditional oxygen tank - it utilizes technology used by space agencies to chemically generate oxygen while also removing carbon dioxide from a user’s breath. It is designed to be carried every day or stored away for up to 10 years without maintenance. The SRLD can be used in applications such as, mining, tunneling, industrial plants, underground utilities, government buildings, or even panic rooms.

In an emergency, you don’t have time for a self-rescuer to ramp up. That’s why our SRLDs provide up to 40% faster oxygen generation in the first minutes. Supplying more oxygen when you need it most.
  • The smallest, lightest 1-hour NIOSH and MSHA approved emergency breathing device
  • 10-year service life in storage (5-year if carried)
Superior Design
Lightweight

Offering nearly four times more oxygen while weighing almost half as much as other EEBDs, it`s the lightest NIOSH-approved 60-minute SCSR. Its compact design ensures an hour of reliable breathing time in critical situations

Self-contained source of oxygen

In emergencies where oxygen levels drop or toxins are present, a self-contained source of oxygen ensures safe breathing where filter respirators fall short. It provides a reliable, independent oxygen supply when you need it most.

No Hydrostatic Testing

No hydrostatic testing means simplified maintenance compared to other escape systems, saving time and effort.

No Refurb Needed
Avoid the costly and time-consuming process of returning units to the manufacturer every five years, with the SRLD there are no required factory refurbishments.
Rugged

Designed for the most rugged applications and industries

Service Life

Up to 10-years of service life in storage and 5-years if carried

Extended Duration
Rated Duration

Rated duration: 60 minutes - far exceeds the 10-minute duration of most other EEBDs

QuickStart Technology

Includes QuickStart Technology which means faster oxygen generation at the start when you need it most

Safe Operation
Our device ensures safe and comfortable use by maintaining optimal temperatures and low breathing resistance, unlike CO filters that can become dangerously hot. With superior internal filtration, it also prevents dust from CO? scrubbers, delivering a safer and more reliable experience.
