(CSI) are designed to separate free oils and settleable solids from rainwater runoff and washdown applications via gravity or pumped flow. Our separators feature 10ppm effluent discharge, low maintenance and superior Containment Solutions quality.
Equipment Washdown/Vehicle Maintenance Facilities
Water from washdown sources are contaminated with oil and/or grease from trucks, cars and other dirty equipment. Either through direct flow or pumping when necessary, CSI Oil/Water Separator Systems remove free oil and grease to achieve an effluent quality of 10ppm to meet your discharge requirements. The concentrations and types of contaminants determines the allowable flow rate through the system.

The CSI Aboveground Oil/Water Separator is designed for gravity separation of free oil and settleable solids from wastewater. Our systems are installed either at grade or below grade (within a vault). Flow may be gravity fed or pumped using positive displacement pumps. Each application (surface runoff, equipment washdown, major oil spill, etc.) and site may have different technical considerations and should have an oil/water separator designed accordingly.
The Containment Solutions Aboveground Oil/Water Separator combines a unique aboveground steel tank design with state-of-the-art coalescer technology to provide separators that operate at flow rates comparable to larger units.
CSI separators are rectangular in shape and consist of three special processing chambers: 1) a Primary “Oil and Sediment” Separation Chamber; 2) a Secondary “Enhanced Coalescer” Separation Chamber, and 3) an Effluent Discharge Chamber. These chambers allow maximum sediment and oil separation, lengthen retention time and increase surface area for oil separation.
Additional features include a unique inlet/outlet design that minimizes external piping, support feet that allow for convenient off-loading and a removable top that allows for easy access to the coalescer units and debris plates. The coalescer units are removable for ease of maintenance and constructed of non-metallic oleophilic materials for enhanced performance.

B. ENHANCED COALESCER OIL/WATER SEPARATOR FILTERING SYSTEM
State-of-the-art separating system that provides superior performance, easy-to-clean coalescing plates and modular construction. Plates can be
removed from units for cleaning.
C. MAINTENANCE-FRIENDLY DESIGN
Removable cover allows easy access to coalescers and debris plates for continued long-term performance of your system.
D. OPTIONAL ELECTRONIC MONITORING SYSTEM
Containment Solutions can provide optional electronic equipment that can monitor the interstice of your doublewall separator and/or the accumulated oil within your oil/water separator.
