Cyanomat - Cyanide Treatment - UV Oxidation Units
The modern cyanide treatment was developed by a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH and is carried out in a multi-stage UV oxidation process. On the one hand, the process was based on a completely newly developed UV reactor for UV oxidation and on the other hand on additional process steps that complement the UV process and exploit the elimination of cyanide. Over the years, a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH and from the 01.01.2013 on enviolet GmbH have implemented a multiplicity of successful projects for the removal of cyanide from process media and waste water. The protective rights continue to be maintained at the a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH.
Cyanide-containing effluents and cyanide concentrates from all applications (surface engineering, synthesis, etc.) with up to 150,000 mg/L CN- are completely oxidized and detoxified with this UV oxidation process.
The detoxification or degradation of cyanide occurs fully automatically, quickly and safely in UV oxidation reactors. In the case of disposal by means of UV-H2O2 no chlorine bleach (sodium hypochlorite) is used and therefore no AOX is produced.
Due to the novel process control in the extended UV process, all relevant limits of the respective legal requirements for free cyanide or total cyanide can be met.
