PD Rotomouldings traces its history back to 1970 when it built its own machinery based on the recently developed Engel Process to make Chemical Containers, Drums and IBC`s. Expanding rapidly PD had several firsts , notable firsts include Traffic Bollards and the first Bottle Banks. As well as its own products PD has always been a leader in Custom Mouldings. Customs Moulding are where a customer has a requirement for a special product not available elsewhere and looks for someone to design and produce this product exclusively for him.

In 2001 PD became part of JFC Manufacturing with production plants in England, Ireland and Poland and warehousing in Holland. This enables pan European manufacture and distribution for your product and combines the experienced UK technical sales team with the design and production capabilities of a 200 employee multinational.

Quality approved to ISO 9001-2000 standards, we design all products in-house, fabricate moulds and manufacture products with the most advanced machinery available in the rotational moulding industry today. With this in mind, you can be sure that all products have quality and reliability built in from the start.

Using the most advanced computer aided engineering tools available in the design and development of new products and moulds. Pro-engineer is an advanced 3D modeling package that enables our In-house Design team to evaluate various concepts before deciding on a final design and proceeding to mould build. The concepts can also be evaluated and optimised for there structural integrity with Ansys finite element analysis prior to prototype building and testing. This system affords us the opportunity to evaluate various concepts, eliminate potential design faults, improve aesthetics, evaluate and optimised structural integrity as well as providing an excellent visual representation of the finished product in advance of tool fabrication.

We have the ability to manufacture advanced sheet metal and CNC moulds in house in a state of the art workshop. Cast aluminium moulds are manufactured in collaboration with our mould partners in Ireland the UK and continental Europe.
