D-2 - Portable Submersible Automated Particle Counter with Density and Conductivity Measurement
This device is a rugged, portable particle counter designed for military and industrial applications, offering integrated measurement of particle size, density, and conductivity. Engineered specifically for challenging environments, the unit is waterproof and submersible, meeting IP67 and MIL-STD-810 Method 512 standards. It can operate between -30°C and 50°C, handling environmental extremes typically encountered on platforms like aircraft carrier flight decks. Utilizing laser obscuration as its principle of operation, it complies with ASTM D7619 for particle counting and includes channels for particles sized 4µm to 30µm. The device offers multiple power source options: a standard military battery, a battery pack from the PEAK kit, or wall power. Equipped with a high-capacity 99Wh lithium-ion battery, it supports continuous operation for up to 8 hours and 200 tests before recharging. Features such as a dimmable color display with ISO grading and a data management system for results output make it highly versatile for on-site applications.
This is the portable military hardened submersible / waterproof automated particle counter that also has conductivity and density measurement built in. This Particle Counter is found in the PEAK Kit.
The Particle counter provides equivalent testing for: ASTM D7619 Particle Counting, ASTM D7777 / D4052 Density and ASTM D2624 Conductivity.
The particle counter has been built to use the standard military portable batter shown above or can be run from the battery pack found in the PEAK kit, or from wall power. Pictured below the Particle Counter can be ordered to come with the backpack version which is used for example on an aircraft carrier flight deck. The Particle counter has passed testing from -30°C to 50°C and proven it is submersible meaning it can handle operation in any conditions of weather.
- The most mobile particle counter in existence, with a backpack carrying option.
- The rugged design can withstand extreme weather conditions and still operate effectively.
