Peak Biotech - Model MPLC -DAC Columns for High-Performance Low Pressure Applications
Peak Biotech offers MPLC DAC columns designed to cater to high-performance applications that operate under low pressure conditions, ranging up to 30 bar. These columns are engineered with variable bed lengths from 50 to 1000 mm and diameters spanning 100 to 1600 mm. The internal hydraulic compression system not only ensures efficient usage of space but also facilitates easy mobility, allowing columns to be maneuvered through restricted spaces. The same distributor and frit construction at both ends of the column enable flexible operational flow directions, optimizing flow distribution throughout the packed bed. Features highlight a slurry inlet and outlet system that allows quick packing and unpacking without column disassembly, and the sanitary design minimizes internal dead volumes, making them suitable for rigorous CIP processes. Constructed according to stringent standards such as CE, cGMP compliance, and using materials like 316L Stainless Steel or Hastelloy, these columns are equipped with automated and reproducible packing capabilities. Optional enhancements such as various frit pore sizes and customizable flow designs illustrate a commitment to providing equipment accommodating diverse processing demands.
Peak MPLC DAC columns are designed for high performance. Columns have variable bed length and are designed for low pressure applications.
The columns are designed with internal hydraulic compression, which makes the construction space saving. Especially, when beds are packed, this is a strength due to high mobility, e.g. through door openings.
Same distributor and frit construction in top and bottom of the column to allow both up- and down flow directions and to ensure an even distributed flow through the packed bed.

Removable frit plates for easy replacement, in order to cleaning purpose or product change. Frit plates are available within a range of frit pore size from 2 to 75 µm.

Construction: All columns are CE-marked and cGMP compliant.
Parts in product contact: Stainless Steel 316L, Duplex or Hastelloy.
PEHD or PTFE sealings is FDA approved.
Materials (USP Class VI is optional).
