Damavan Imaging - 3D Gamma Imaging Technology

Damavan Imaging has developed an advanced gamma imaging technology that offers 3D reconstruction capabilities through its precise angular resolution cameras. By utilizing at least three acquisitions, this system can effectively map gamma ray emissions in three dimensions. This technology is particularly beneficial for applications in nuclear waste optimization and nuclear dismantling, where accurate spatial imaging of radioactive sources is crucial. The system demonstrated its capability with a pair of radioactive sources, specifically 15 KBq of 22Na and 30 KBq of 137Cs, positioned 15 cm apart, observed from three different angles at a 50 cm distance. Such technological advancements represent a significant step forward in radiation imaging, providing enhanced detail and accuracy for technical applications in the nuclear industry.
