DELOX - Pellet Level Sensors
When you need heat or hot water, the last thing you want is to find that you`ve run out of pellets. But it`s an easy mistake to make. You could do without the chore of checking the store regularly, and if you do, it`s not easy to tell exactly how much is in, and how fast you are getting through it.The DELOX SiCon system provides an unique solution for that problem, making wood-pellet heating as simple and convenient as using any other fuel.DELOX SiCon is a level-measurement system that can be fitted to almost any pellet store. A set of probes report the level of fuel in the store to a control station that can be located in a convenient position outside the store. The control station provides a simple visual indication of the quantity of pellets in the store, from 0% to 100%.The control station can optionally be equipped with alarms (visual or aural) to go off when your fuel level is above or below specified levels.
The high-level alarm (typically 90%) will warn delivery-drivers when the store is nearly full, avoiding wastage and cost. The low-level alarm (typically 10%) will remind you to re-order before it`s too late.
The SiCon GSM makes life easier still in two ways:
-
If you send a text message to your SiCon, it will text you back with the level in the store, wherever you are.
-
The SiCon will report your fuel level regularly to a central database, which you can access online to view your current level, your historic rates of consumption, and the dates and quantities of each refill.
