Desiccant Rotor dehumidifiers remove the humid the air and provide the relative dry air by a rotating desiccant silica-gel wheel, which is continuously re-dried again. In this series, the most component is the desiccant rotor. It is formed as honeycomb, usually making of silica gel or molecular. When the process air passes into the 3/4 flutes of the wheel, it is absorbed by the desiccant. At the same time, a heated air stream (normally 100~140℃), called the reactivation air, pass through the 1/4 flutes, warms the desiccant by evaporating the moisture within. Thus, the desiccant rotor recovers the dehumidification capability.
