The Building Ventilation Integrated CO2 Capture System from Soletair Power allows buildings to integrate carbon capture directly into their HVAC systems. This retrofittable technology captures CO2 at ambient airflow rates, making it suitable for urban infrastructures like offices, shopping malls, and data centers. The system, measuring 3m x 3m x 3m for a standard unit handling 3.3 m3/s, can capture up to 47 kilograms of CO2 per day. Modifications can be made to fit specific architectural requirements and space limitations. Implementing this system not only reduces onsite carbon emissions but also helps in saving ventilation energy costs, improving indoor air quality, and earning LEED & WELL points. It contributes to ESG compliance with legislations such as LL97, 45Q, and EPBD. The technology has been installed in various locations, including the Wärtsilä Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa, a factory in Vantaa, and a net-negative building in Aarhus.
