Devise - Model Type BFS -Brush-Fine-Screen
The “Brush-Fine-Screen” (BFS) by DEVISE is a self-cleaning sieve that is compact and is used for fine screening of all types of wastewater. The screen removes solid particles very efficiently and reliably and it is particularly effective in removing longhairs, textile fabrics and capillaries. The device is fully covered with opening caps so to limit droplets and odors.

It consists of a stainless steel frame-trough where the curved ‘perforated screening surface’ is steadily fixed on it along with the cleaning system. The wastewater enters from the upper section of the unit and the screening surface which retains the solid particles.
The wastewater free from the solid particles larger than the diameter of the holes in the perforated surface, flows through a suitable outlet port for further treatment.
The perforated surface is automatically cleaned by a rotating scraper, which has suitable brushes made of durable plastic material adjusted at its ends. The rotating cleaning scraper, rotating at low speed, is activated either by a timer or by a level switch located in the sieve’s inlet chamber
The DEVISE-BFS screen is produced for a wide range of wastewater flow rates, ranging from 10 up to 350 m3/h while the screening surface is offered with perforations from 0.8 to 12.0 mm with an equivalent solids retention capability.
The DEVISE [BFS] sieves are entirely manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304, 304L or 316L quality; they have very low energy consumption and are very durable, reliable and efficient for use in a wide range of applications of wastewater pre-treatment.

The DEVISE BFS mechanical screens can be supplied complete with the electrical control panel and automation system, as well as with mounting supports, waste hoppers and special collection and drainage bins.
