DEWA - Model 4 -Mobile CS Sample Unit
Mobile sample unit for a safe, controlled sampling of clean steam systems for laboratory tests by means of condensation of clean steam with cooling water.
The steam supply of condenser will be connected via a pressure-proofed clean steam hose with a clean steam tap.
The cooling water will be fed to the shell of condenser over a hose and drained by a second hose. The clean steam condensate is collected in a vessel of stainless steel. Quantity can be supervised through a gauge glass.
If there is enough condensate in the vessel a sterile bottle will be connected to the lower outlet of vessel. By opening the valve of vessel outlet the condensate will be pressed in the sample bottle. The bottles are carried along with the bottle basket of the sample unit.
Design and construction fully come up to GMP guidelines:
- welding seams are lying outside to avoid cross-contamination
- stainless steels, premium grade, in the product contacting area: AISI 316 L, otherwise AISI 304
- FDA approved gasket materials
- no dead legs
