DGH - D3200/D4200 - Current Output Modules
The D3200 and D4200 series analog output modules contain an isolated 12-bit digital to analog converter that is scaled to generate current signals. Two current output ranges are available. Simple commands are used to control the analog output. The D4200 series modules include advanced features, including user-scalable input data values, a communications watchdog timer, user-programmable starting value, and true analog output readback. The communications watchdog timer can be programmed to force the current output signal to a known “safe” condition in the event of a communications failure. The D4200 contains an 8-bit analog to digital converter for true readback of the current output signal. The readback will provide assurance that the current output is working correctly. Three onboard digital inputs accept direct contact closures from switches or relays. Making them ideal for monitoring on/off signals, or manually controlling the analog output at a remote module location.• Programmable high/low output limits.
