Application / Media
Generally, the standard versions of these pressure reducers are preferably used for the pressure regulation of seawater and other neutral, non-viscous liquids. However, these valves may also be used for compressed air, nitrogen, and other neutral, non-combustible gases whenever elevated flow rates are required. The maximum media temperature must not exceed 75°. These versions are not suitable for steam!
On request, most of these types may also be especially adapted to drinking water, cold, warm or hot water, diluted acids and bases, oils, fuels, liquid combustibles, adhesives, foams, gases, compressed air, and much else. Also modifications for media temperatures up to 190° are possible. We will gladly give you advice on these special versions, please contact us for details.
These types are equipped with a pre-pressure compensation (a fluctuating pre-pressure will not affect the outlet pressure) and exchangeable valve seats, in smaller versions (DN 15 to DN 32) the entire control unit is replaceable with one cartridge. In larger versions (DN 40 to DN 50) diaphragm, seals, and valve seat are replaceable separately. All valves are equipped with an integrated dirt trap and double-sided manometer connections (for outlet pressure G ¼”). The media connections have internal threads according to ISO 228.
Body made of red bronze, spring bonnet in brass (up to size 32) or grey cast iron with protective coating (from size 40), diaphragm and seals of NBR, inner parts of Hostaform-C, red bronze, and stainless steel.
