Diesel Flat Die Feed Pellet Mill Application

Raw materials: The raw material can be corn, alfalfa, wheat, rice, bran, grass, beans, oil cake, etc. Protein or other nutrients can also be added to the raw materials.

Application industry: It is widely applied in the small or medium aquaculture industries, feed pellet plant, livestock and poultry farm, small-scale and individual farms, and small feed processing plants, etc.

When the roller driven pellet mill is in operation, the flat die is totally stationary, while the rollers are rotating and revolving on its own shaft. The relative motion between roller and flat die will compress the materials into die holes. After a certain time they are squeezed out in the cylindrical form. Cutters on the other side of the flat die will cut the exposed cylinder into regular length, then the feed pellets are discharged outside.

After pelletizing, the feed pellets have a smooth surface, high hardness, good palatability and fully degree of internal maturation. The nutritional quality is largely improved, easy to be digested and absorbed. Besides, parasitic ovum and other microbial pathogens are killed during pelletizing, convenient for long-term storage and transportation.
