EMIO - Model DFM 2006 -Digital Flowmeter
This is a new solution in a series of devices manufactured at EMIO, designed to measure gas volume flow in closed channels. Similar to the DFM 1194/1197 flowmeters, the DFM 2006 flowmeter operates on the principle of micromanometric differential pressure measurement.
The flowmeter is equipped with its own temperature probe and can be equipped with a gas humidity probe. It can be used with all types of pressure tubes for which a specific K constant value has been established.
The device is particularly useful for determining the gas velocity profile in a channel by recording the dynamic pressure distribution in the tested cross-section. The application program that controls the flowmeter`s operation performs live calculations of the gas velocity in the channel. The final results are presented in a report containing calculated gas flow rates relative to actual and conventional conditions for dry and wet gas.
The DFM 2006 flowmeter is designed for environmental protection services in combined heat and power plants, power plants, steelworks and large industrial plants, as well as for environmental protection inspectorates, in laboratory installations for flow measurements in closed tubular channels equipped with any type of measuring orifice.
The gas volume flow calculation algorithm is consistent with the recommendations of the PN-Z-04030-7:1994 (ISO 9096:1992) and PN-EN 13294 standards.
