ACO - Model DMMS -Digital Moisture Measurement System

The DMMS moisture measurement is suitable for particularly demanding applications. Up to 16 sensors communicate digitally with a central evaluation unit. Simple wiring using bus technology enables the measuring points to be easily expanded. The maximum length of the bus system is 1,200m, which means that very extensive production facilities can be completely covered. Calibration takes place during the production process, i.e. after the sensor has been installed. Thus, all influences caused by the installation position are automatically recorded and directly compensated during the calibration process. The type of measurement can be selected for each humidity sensor - whether it carries out its measurement continuously or in batch mode, i.e. via an external start and stop signal. It is also possible to change the material for each sensor (up to 16 different characteristic curves). The measured value is transmitted purely digitally via Profibus DP or by means of a standard signal (e.g. 4...20mA, 0...10V). When replacing a sensor, the calibration settings can be adopted 1:1.
