The stationary discs are affixed to the lid (stator), while the fast-rotating discs are housed in the grinding chamber. Suitable for both wet and low-dust dry grinding, the mill can be adapted by utilizing different types of discs to produce a variety of products according to specific requirements. How it works

Centrifugal forces pull the product from the inside to the outside through the grinding discs. The static grinding discs are attached to the lid (stator), while the rapidly rotating discs are mounted at the bottom of the grinding housing.
The distance between the grinding discs is adjusted to the desired granulometry using the handwheel mounted on the side.

Applications

The GRANOMAT JP disc mill is used for ultrafine grinding of many products. It is also referred to as a micronizer and can be used for both wet and low-flour dry grinding. Depending on the disc type used, a wide variety of products can be produced.
